If you are feeling that nothing is working with your child and that his or her behavior is going from bad to worse, C4L’s therapists will work with you and your child to overcome the difficulties that have left you both feeling frustrated and unhappy.
Individual and Group Parent Training Workshops
C4L’s private workshops cover the most significant situations you and your child will experience as you both pass from one milestone to the next. These workshops address appropriate expectations and skill building for successful negotiation and team building.
Public Sessions
Dr. Ansari is a passionate professional who truly believes that all students can be successful and that all parents can build their skills to support each of their children’s individual needs.
Dr. Shirin Ansari, the founder of Center for Learning and Behavioral Solutions (C4L), is a clinical psychologist with an extensive background in educational settings as a former resource specialist and school psychologist for the Irvine Unified School District. Dr.Ansari and her staff specialize in the latest research-based techniques for the treatment of reading and language disabilities, processing disorders, as well as social and emotional child and adolescent issues.
To give back to the community the trust and support that has been given to her and her staff by her students and families’, Dr. Ansari has set up an avenue to offer one-hour "guest speaker" sessions at PTA and PTO Coffee Breaks as well as at family community centers. These presentations are absolutely free and they are offered in English and Spanish.
The public sessions are one-hour in length. They are absolutely free and they are offered in English and Spanish. You may choose any one of these topics, or may request a special topic of concern.
